We are in need of an additional parent volunteer or two to continue with the club. If you are available on any of the following dates and would be interested in helping us, please send us an email or give us a phone call.

Low- Relief Non-Objective Sculptures by Roya A

Non-Objective art is art that really does not have a purpose. There are no objects in the artwork just the Elements and Principles of Design.
Students really had to dig deep into their imaginations to bring out their non-objective design that needed to show balance, movement, and rhythm. We had to create and make our own shapes and make sure each shape would coordinate with the entire design. Even though it was challenging, the students were very focused on completing a successful design.
Each artwork looked different and complimented the student's personality. I loved to see how funky and silly each art work could get. Overall, all the students expressed their minds with just a number of shapes, colors and glue.

What's happening?

Megan says "Art is what's happening!"
We've been busy! Sixth graders have been working on abstract and non-objective artworks with their " Bad hair day," and "Watercolor" projects.
